Bargoose 6-Gauge Vinyl Zippered Mattress Encasement, Waterproof

the zipper on the encasement came RIPPED, which totally defeats the purpose of putting on an encasement. I waited a few months to put it on, so I have missed the return window and now I’m stuck with a defective product and no box spring protection. This is a terrible product. I do not recommend at all.

This got a small tear as we were putting it on our box spring. I didn’t feel like we were being rough at all (putting a cover on your box spring is very clumsy). The relative I purchased it for had a habit of running his fingernail down the mattress and mattress covers at night. If it weren't for this issue, the cover would have been very durable. But even with nails trimmed short, my relative tore a slit in the mattress cover the very first night and the second night tore the cover open. The vinyl made it a bit more difficult to roll my relative to the sides to do diaper and draw sheet changes.

The experience was horrible with your company I bought 2 covers and one ripped right away. The other I tryed to sent back but couldn't because shipping it back costs more than the product. It's not right how you charge shipping for the purchase itself and then to return an item as well. Most companies provide shipping or at very leat free returns. Unfortunately after 1 Year (purchased June 4, 2022), it has not held up with several rips/tears. I am looking for a replacement, and 10/10 will NOT be a repeat customer. Might work well for a guest bed, but definitely not suited for regular/daily use.

A 16 inch bag going on a 13 inch mattress and it completely ripped apart at the zipper. The zipper pull came right off and the sides tore like wet tissue paper. One obvious problem, other than very cheap materials, is that the zipper is too short- that is, the opening is not wide enough to fit a 13 inch mattress even though it was a 16 inch bag. Definitely regret the purchase.
