Don’t get fooled by “waterproof” terry & bamboo covered. I have a giant stain on a $6000 mattress as a result of those. This is 100% waterproof vinyl. It’s fitted style with very deep pockets. I tried zippered but I couldn’t manage to get it on my giant thick kind bed. I covered it a soft terry mattress pad to make it feel soft to lay on otherwise it’s noisy & “plasticky” feeling.

I have this product and finally opened it to use it with my new mattress and was highly disappointed to see a tear already in the mattress. This came like this.

I used it for 6 months for my Sun as he have dust allergy it got ripped so soon.

Heavy duty, easy to put on, comfortable with just a bottom sheet over it. I use it on my bed after being released from hospital rehab to protect my mattress from leaks .

The quality of the plastic and waterproof qualities are superb, However, within one month of using it the corner seams began to split, even tho they were on a standard size twin bed. Plan on using some very strong tape to secure it.From a comfort standpoint, it is not good, as can be imagined when you are lying down on a cold plastic sheet.

I recently gave this cover for stars and a fair review however I had to give this review anUpdate:Within a very short time of using this cover it ripped completely from top to bottom I don't know how this happened but this cover is a piece of junk and I will not be buying another one.

I like how it fits my Queen bed but is to long on sides and hard to keep from showing under fitted sheet

I have had this mattress cover on the mattress for over a month now. Every time you move on the bed, you hear an annoying plastic-like sound which comes from the vinyl rubbing against itself. Also, every couple of days, we have to fit the cover back on the mattress (at the head end) because it slides off the mattress and ends up about 2-3 feet down the bed under the fitted sheet from the head end. The old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here.

Mattress cover was supposed to be ZIPPERED. It did not have a zipper. Also, we recieved 2 of these, so I will have to pay DOUBLE the price.NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THIS ORDER

There is a heat-welded seam that runs the length of this vinyl cover. That seam did not hold up very well. Within a month it split open along about 3ft. The next time I looked, it had split another 3ft. Within a few months, I had to duct tapped the entire length along the seam. After about a year the vinyl became very brittle in places where your body is usually positioned and it cracked open in multiple locations. It was then useless. It was less expensive than other types but you get what you pay for. This should be manufactured without a seam running down the middle and perhaps a thicker gauge vinyl. If you purchase this item, it will have a short useful life.

I think I am fairly well qualified to evaluate waterproof mattress protectors, as we've gone through close to a dozen, mostly from Amazon, a few from Walmart. The fabric covers with membranes, liners, and even washable plastic sheet linings, have all failed to give 100% protection against liquid leaking through to the mattress, despite all claims. Sometimes multiple layers of mattress protectors have even failed. So I should have bought this durable vinyl protector a long time ago. True, it's not as quiet or comfortable, but if your highest goal is protecting the mattress from spills, this is the best. The deep pocket was great for our 9+ inch mattress, and the thick vinyl stops all liquid. It wipes clean with a rag or paper towel. I have not found a single other sheet protector with the fabric covering etc that actually lasted and protected, and I wasted a lot of money on other products before purchasing this one. Very satisfied.Yes it does have a smell for a few days, so air it out like everyone says.

The product is just a total plastic wrap for mattress rather than a standard mattress cover with fabric material on the top of surface. Awful odor as well! Watch out before ordering, fellow Amazonian

So I bought this mattress protector in May finally opened 10 sep 22. It's flimsy your better off using a shower curtain. The elastic supposedly on the 4 corners of the bed well let's just say there really isn't any. Your better off buying a shower curtain.

I have a cat that has bad litter box habits and I have caught her urinating and even pooing on the bed. I don’t have a washing machine so I’m unable to do laundry every day so this cover helps resolve the issue. Easy to clean messes and I bought the queen size to entirely cover my full sized bed when I’m not home to monitor kitty. Works like a charm!

Product was quality and worth the money, just not what I needed.

When I received this, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Isn't it supposed to be a "fitted" mattress protector? It doesn't seem to stay in place and due to this, I'm Handicapped and it made me constantly slip off of my bed and fall. I'm even more uncomfortable from this and scared to get on my bed. This sucks.

I thought I was getting something that goes over the whole mattress. It does not. Just a plastic fitted sheet.

I wanted a cover that was easy to put on and reasonable in price.

I should have bought the full encasement. After lying in bed for one or two nights, it comes off the corners and bunches up, leaving part of the mattress unprotected.

Unfortunately the elastic is loose and the cover keeps sliding off during the night.

I thought this product would completely surround the mattress but it just lays on top and does not fit.Very thick plastic. Useless.

Boo ripped after a week

We originally purchased this item 9 months ago and it works like a charm. It fits onto the queen mattress great and washes well in the washing machine. It’s helped greatly with clean up when our senior cat wets the bed. We decided to buy a second one for when the first is in the wash ~2 months ago and it’s very clearly not the same product. It’s a different color, it fits the queen mattress just as well, but has a chemical odor that has not been alleviated with repeat washes. If the cat cannot tolerate the odor, it’s definitely going to be a problem for humans using it too!
