This is a smooth, soft 100% organic cotton zippered pillow encasement. I found this easy to wash and noticed babies (yes, I have multiple) were comfortable, moving their hands back and forth to feel the cool smooth texture before I put the pillowcase on. This cotton weave is a lightweight fabric, crisp + cool, versus flannel, which is warmer and fuzzier, and jersey, which offers stretch. The zippered pillow encasement handled the drier nicely, so, I have been getting away with not having to iron. I really appreciate the attention to details that were placed in the design and manufacture of these zippered pillow encasement. I do not develop a sweaty head from sleeping on this cotton zippered pillow encasement. I give an enthusiastic two (2) thumbs up. This is a very nice pillow protector. It is organic cotton and has that wonderful smooth crisp and cool feeling that I love about cotton linens. Looking inside the sewing is all very neat and well finished. The zipper is easily opened/closed. The zipper is not at the end of the cover like I have had in the past but it is a few inches from the end. I will like that much better because I hate to put on a pillowcase and mistakenly put the zippered end of the cover at the opening of the pillowcase and then you can see and feel the zipper. That won’t happen with this cover. This cover is a very tight weave which is what is needed for allergies. I really like this pillow protector. The color is natural unbleached cotton so it is ivory color.

The stitching on it is neatly done and the seams lie flat. The zipper is actually not on the end, but partway down from it and well hidden. It’s a strong zipper that should last as long as the pillow protector. Although the material looks white in my photos, it is actually an off white color. I read other reviews that stated that the fabric is very soft. The one that I received is quite stiff and crinkly. I’m hoping that washing will make it softer and quieter. The price of this pillow protector is somewhat higher than other brands that give you at least two protectors for the cost of this one cover.

It's getting hard to find all cotton anything and especially organic cotton. I appreciate this being both so that I can use it with my cotton sheets.Cotton stays so cool and this adds to my being able to sleep soundly.The zipper is nicely done and there is plenty of room for the appropriate sized pillow.This is only one pillow case so you would need two for your set on the bed.I do recommend this organic pillow cover.

Excellent construction and fabric. We bought new down pillows and needed a great fabric so the pillows could breathe. These are it. Worth the money.

These are fantastic pillow protectors and are very nice quality. The fabric is a very sturdy, textured, woven cotton that washes well. I am very happy with these as they have exceeded my expectations.

This pillow protector is soft yet strong. It has a "canvassy" kind of "snap" to it (like the crisp white linens we remember from decades ago). That kind of cotton is strong and holds up to multiple washes. It may not be the cloud-like softness many are now accustomed to, but for a lot of us, that "snappiness" of tough strong cotton is a definite positive. I expect this to hold up through multiple washings. I'm using it as a protector over a block of organic latex, and then adding a pillowcase on top of all of it. It has such a nice feeling, and it's of great quality to encase the latex.
