AllergyCare 100% Cotton Crib Mattress Encasing
A zippered crib mattress encasement in AllergyCare™ cotton, the same untreated weave used in our cotton mattress encasement. The weave itself is the dust mite barrier: Porous Measurement International measured a mean flow pore diameter of 4.62 microns, smaller than dust mite allergen particles. There is no coating or membrane, so it stays breathable. Fits a crib mattress 28" x 52" x 6".
Fabric
- 100% cotton, woven and finished without dyes, resins or softeners.

Construction
- Zips closed around all six sides of the mattress.
- Heavy gauge nylon zipper with a coated rust-proof metal pull.
- Double-stitched seams, at least 12 stitches per inch.

Care
Machine wash hot, up to 140°F. No chlorine bleach. Dry on medium, and make sure the cover is completely dry before it goes back on the mattress.
Questions
Is it waterproof?
No. It is breathable cotton with no membrane. Put the waterproof crib pad linked below on top of it.
Will it fit my crib mattress?
It is sized for a standard 28" x 52" crib mattress up to 6" deep. Measure the mattress before ordering.
How often should I wash it?
The crib sheet and pad go on top of it, so a few times a year is enough, or whenever it gets wet.
