BedBug Solution Sofa Sleeper Elite Encasement
A zippered encasement sized for the 6 inch mattress in a pull-out sofa. It closes around all 6 sides of the mattress, and the end of the zipper track, where bed bugs get through on ordinary covers, is closed off by the patented BugStop® Seal (U.S. Patent No. 8,413,276).
It is waterproof, so spills and stains stay out of the mattress, and it is machine washable. The fabric is a soft stretch knit that goes directly on the mattress, under your sheet, and stays on when the bed folds away.

Make up the sofa bed
The encasement stays on the mattress. On top of it, the Quilted Waterproof Sofa Sleeper Mattress Pad adds a padded layer with anchor bands that hold through the fold, and the Sofa Sleeper Sheet is cut for the same 6 inch depth.

Questions
Will it get caught when the sofa folds?
It is cut for a 6 inch sofa mattress and zips closed around it, so there is no loose skirt to catch in the frame.
Can bed bugs get through the zipper?
The zipper is where most encasements fail. The BugStop® Seal covers the end of the zipper track so there is no gap to crawl through.
Will a regular mattress encasement fit a sofa bed?
Usually not. Standard encasements are cut for 9 to 16 inch mattresses and 75 or 80 inch lengths. Sofa bed mattresses are 72 inches long and about 6 inches deep.
