Who We Are
Bargoose Home Textiles, Inc. has operated as a family-run business since 2005, building a single specialty rather than a broad catalog: bedding that protects the bed itself. Our tagline, We've Got You Covered, is the whole business in four words.
We are a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise and a small American manufacturer. We sell factory-direct to commercial and institutional buyers, and through a network of more than twenty authorized distribution partners nationwide. There is no distributor margin stacked between a hotel group and the people who actually make the product.
Luxury guest comfort. Operational efficiency. Long-term asset protection. A mattress is a capital asset with a replacement cycle. Protecting it properly extends that cycle, contains infestation risk before it becomes a multi-room event, and does it without a guest ever noticing a protector is there.
What We Make
- BedBug Solution® encasements. Elite six-sided waterproof encasements in 6", 9", 12" and 16" depths, Hybrid stretch-to-fit for 9"–12", and Deep Hybrid for 12"–16". All built around the patented BugStop® Seal.
- Box spring covers. Zippered stretch knit, certified to the same standard as the mattress encasements, because half a protected bed is not a protected bed.
- Waterproof mattress pads. 3-ply quilted and 4-ply microfiber, built for commercial laundry cycles.
- Vinyl mattress protection. 6-gauge and 3-gauge, for high-turnover institutional environments where wipe-clean matters more than hand feel.
- Pillow protection. CleanAir® allergy relief zippered protectors, vinyl protectors, and commercial hospitality covers.
- Sleeper sofa systems. T-180 fitted sheets, 3-ply waterproof sofa pads, and zippered sofa encasements, for a bed most suppliers ignore.
- Custom sizing. Hospital Twin, Duty Bunk, semi-truck sleeper, marine berth, bariatric, pediatric, and non-standard institutional frames.
We Publish the Proof
Plenty of bedding is marketed as "bed bug proof." Far less of it comes with the test report attached. We publish ours openly rather than holding them for request, so procurement teams, specifiers and compliance reviewers can verify our claims before buying rather than after.
-
🔒 U.S. Patent No. 8,413,276
The BugStop® Seal closes the zipper-end gap that is the standard failure point in competitive encasements. A bed bug can pass through an opening thinner than a credit card, and on most covers that opening is at the end of the zipper.
-
🔬 Snell Scientifics, LLC
Independent entomological testing of the BedBug Solution® line, verified bite-proof and escape-proof. The closure is tested, not only the fabric.
-
🧪 ASTM F1670-08
Resistance to penetration by synthetic blood, the standard used to qualify barrier materials for fluid exposure in clinical environments.
-
🔥 16 CFR 1632 / 1633 · 16 CFR 1610
Federal mattress flammability compliance, the clause most often cited in institutional and hospitality bedding specifications.
-
🌿 OEKO-TEX · SGS Chemical Panels
Certified fabric, with SGS testing including a 725-substance PFAS screen to EN 17681-1:2025 and California AB 1817 organic fluorine analysis.

Manufacturing & Sourcing
Our standard catalog is imported and held in inventory for same-day shipping. Domestic manufacturing is available for orders carrying a domestic-source requirement, and for custom specifications that no catalog item satisfies.
We say this plainly because federal and institutional buyers work to clauses, not adjectives. Trade Agreements Act, Buy American and Berry Amendment are three different standards with three different tests, and we would rather decline a line than have a contracting officer discover a mismatch after award. If your requirement carries a sourcing clause, tell us at the outset and we will confirm in writing what a given production run can certify.
Who We Serve
Hotels and hospitality groups, including Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton and Embassy Suites properties. Hospitals, assisted living, hospice and behavioral health units. Military installations and VA medical centers, where our protective bedding is trusted by the U.S. Air Force. Universities and student housing. Property management companies and public housing authorities. Pest control operators. Cruise lines, RV and fleet operators, sleep centers, and distributors who resell into all of the above.
Leadership
Diane Rattner serves as President of Bargoose Home Textiles, Inc. and is the company's point of contact for government business. She is also a named co-inventor on U.S. Patent No. 8,413,276, the BugStop® Seal, alongside Michael Rattner.
That matters more than a bio line usually does. The people who own this company are the same people who invented the closure it is built on.

About Bargoose: Common Questions
Is Bargoose a manufacturer or a reseller?
A manufacturer. Bargoose designs and produces its own protective bedding and is registered federally as a manufacturer of goods. We sell factory-direct to commercial and institutional buyers, and also supply more than twenty authorized distribution partners who resell into hospitality, healthcare and pest control.
What makes Bargoose bedding "protective"?
Three barriers working together. The patented BugStop® Seal closes the zipper-end gap that defeats most encasements. A breathable polyurethane membrane blocks liquid, dust mites and allergen particulates while passing water vapour, so the surface stays quiet and does not trap heat. And flame-retardant construction meets 16 CFR 1632/1633 for hospitality and institutional use.
All three are independently tested, and the reports are published at Test Reports & Lab Results.
Is Bargoose certified woman-owned?
Yes. Bargoose is a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), which supports corporate supplier-diversity requirements and many state and local programs, and is registered in SAM.gov as a Women-Owned Small Business. Certification documentation is available for your vendor file on request.
Where are Bargoose products made?
Standard catalog stock is imported and warehoused domestically for same-day shipping. Domestic manufacturing is available for custom specifications and for orders carrying a domestic-source requirement. If your purchase is subject to a Trade Agreements Act, Buy American or Berry Amendment clause, tell us at the outset and we will confirm in writing what a specific production run can certify.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Hospital Twin at 36" × 80", Duty Bunk, Twin XL, semi-truck sleeper "Size A", marine berths, bariatric beds, pediatric cribs and non-standard institutional frames are all produced to specification. Send dimensions including depth, plus any compliance clause that applies.
How do I buy in volume, or as a government agency?
For case packs, volume pricing, drop ship and samples, see Wholesale & Bulk Pricing. For federal procurement, GSA MAS SIN 314120, UEI and CAGE, and compliance documentation, see Government & GSA Procurement. To find a local distributor, see Authorized Distributors.
