A woven jacquard bedspread in the Medallion pattern, made in Portugal from a 65% cotton, 35% polyester blend. It is light enough for spring and summer on its own and adds a finished look over a blanket in fall and winter. It comes out of the dryer ready for the bed, with no ironing.

Wonderful bedspread

We have used Matelasse/jacquard bedspreads for years following the example of my grandmother who was from the Mediterranean. This type of bedspread launders beautifully and has a nice texture. It is also a great medium weight. I prefer a cotton and polyester blend as it seems a bit lighter in weight than all-cotton. The spread has a banded border all around and fits to the floor on both sides. Very pleased with this purchase.
