What the zipper gap actually is
Most encasements fail in the same place: the last inch or two of the zipper track, where the slider parks. An adult bed bug is about the size of an apple seed and flattens to well under a millimeter. A gap that looks closed to a person is a doorway.
The BugStop® Seal closes that end of the track with an adhesive flap that folds over the slider and stays down. It is covered by U.S. Patent No. 8,413,276.
