Fitted or zippered, and how to choose
A fitted vinyl cover protects the top and sides and leaves the underside open. It goes on in seconds like a fitted sheet, which is why housekeeping prefers it, and it is the right choice when the problem is liquid.
A zippered encasement seals all six sides. That is what bed bug protection requires, because a bug will use the underside and the fitted cover leaves it available.
This cover is tested bite proof and carries an antimicrobial treatment that inhibits mold, mildew and odor. The face has a brushed silk finish, so it is markedly quieter than standard vinyl.
