Commercial Waterproof Quilted Mattress Pad
A 3-ply quilted waterproof mattress pad for hotels, hospitals and care facilities. Polyester felt sits on the top and bottom, with a vinyl barrier in the middle that keeps fluids out of the mattress. The vinyl is a quieter formulation than standard vinyl, so the pad does not crinkle under a sheet.
How it is made
- Top: 100% polyester felt. Soft and absorbent, with no plastic feel.
- Core: quiet vinyl waterproof barrier.
- Bottom: 100% polyester felt, which cushions the vinyl in the wash.
- All three layers are electronically quilted together, with whipstitched edges, so they do not separate or bunch after repeated commercial laundering.
- Treated to inhibit mold, mildew and odor-causing fungi.
Anchor band or fitted
Both styles have the same 3-ply pad. The difference is how it holds on.
Anchor band: a 2" elastic band runs around the edge and tucks under the mattress corners. It is faster to change during room turnover and suits mattresses up to about 12" deep. Most hotels choose this one.
Fitted: a 16" stretch knit skirt goes all the way around the mattress. It stays put on deep mattresses and under residents who move a lot, which is why care facilities usually pick it.

Care
Machine wash warm with a standard commercial detergent and tumble dry on medium. Do not use bleach; it breaks down the vinyl core over time.
PFAS
Total organic fluorine was not detected at a 20 mg/kg detection limit, which passes California AB 1817 (SGS report SHAHL26025131201, August 2026). View the report.
Questions
Will guests hear it?
The vinyl core is a quieter formulation, and the felt on top means a guest lies on fabric, not plastic. With a fitted sheet over it, most people do not notice it.
Will it fit a hospital bed?
The Hospital Twin (36" x 75") fits standard institutional beds, and the Twin XL (39" x 80") fits longer ones.
Do you sell case packs?
Yes, in packs of 6 for commercial accounts, with volume pricing for hotels, care facilities, property managers and U.S. federal agencies. Call (516) 255-1736, email orders@bargoosebedding.com or request a quote.
Add an encasement underneath
The pad protects the top of the mattress. For bed bug and allergen protection on all six sides, zip the mattress into the BedBug Solution Elite Encasement first, or the 3-Gauge Vinyl Zippered Protector for a wipe-clean budget option.
