Why cotton
Most dust mite covers block allergens with a plastic membrane or a coating, which is why they feel stiff and sleep hot. AllergyCare® blocks them with a tight 100% cotton weave and nothing bonded to the back, so the bed keeps the softness and airflow of plain cotton. The pillow protectors are 280 thread count.
Independent pore-size testing
Porous Measurement Int'l Group ran a capillary-flow analysis on the AllergyCare® cotton fabric in August 2025 and measured a mean flow pore diameter of 4.62 microns. Measure the height of your mattress at its deepest point, including any pillow top, and pick the closest depth. Measure pillows flat, edge to edge, without compressing them.

Care
- Mattress encasement: machine wash warm, tumble dry low. Wash before first use to set the fit.
- Pillow protectors: machine wash hot up to 140°F (60°C), tumble dry medium.
- Do not use chlorine bleach on either piece.

This bundle is an allergen barrier, not a liquid barrier. For spills and accidents, add a waterproof layer from our waterproof protectors and encasements.
