A zippered crib mattress encasement in untreated organic cotton, the same AllergyCare™ fabric used in our organic mattress encasement. The weave itself is the dust mite barrier; there is no coating or membrane, so it stays breathable. It fits over any crib mattress, new or used.
Fabric
- 100% organic cotton, sourced through a GOTS certified supply chain under Scope Certificate CU846673GOTS-2026-00087084, issued by Control Union Certifications B.V. The Scope Certificate covers the supply chain; the finished cover is not sold as GOTS certified goods.
- Woven and finished without dyes, resins or softeners. Latex-free.
- Natural cream color. The cotton is not dyed, so the shade can vary slightly between lots.

Construction
- Zips closed around all six sides of the mattress.
- Heavy gauge nylon zipper with rust-proof metal pulls.
- Double-stitched seams, at least 12 stitches per inch.
Fit and Care
Cotton shrinks in the first wash and dry. The cover is cut slightly oversized to allow for that, so it fits after washing. Machine wash warm, up to 130°F. No chlorine bleach. Dry on medium, and make sure the cover is completely dry before it goes back on the mattress.
